July 2005 --
In the aftermath of the September 11th Attacks, many different types of mobilization have taken place in America. While not widespread, the sending of anthrax to various officials and news organizations has alerted all of us to the possibility of biological attack. Though we do not wish to create a climate of fear, the Board of Directors of the Alabama Osteopathic Medical Association have chosen to add to this site a list of suggested links, assembled by our Webmaster from research on Google and other resources, and brief review of each, to educate our members on issues and the appropriate signs/symptoms of likely diseases. Please note that the contents of these sites are not controlled by the AOMA or the Webmaster.
Some of the documents may be in PDF format (which would include illustrations, graphs, etc.); to read these, your computer must have Adobe Acrobat installed. Get the free reader at this link.
